This month the board of EYP The Netherlands will resign. Ruben Wagenaar and Maite Karssenberg will take place in the supervisory council. The applications to the Board and Head Organisers-positions will also take place this month. All alumni can apply to these functions. To ensure impartiality, the board will be chosen by the supervisory council. The Head Organisers will then be chosen by the supervisory board and the new board together. At an alumni meeting on the 26th of March (date not definitively confirmed!), open to all Dutch EYPers, the board will be presented and there is room for comments. In the case of no great opposition, the board will then be officially installed.
If you are interested in one of these functions, please keep an eye on your e-mail-inbox, all procedures will be emailed to you this week.

Looking back at the National Selection Conference 2010 of the European Youth Parliament the Netherlands, we, the board of EYP NL, can say that this weekend was a great success. Rosa Douw did an amazing job organizing the session. Both delegates and officials had a great weekend of teambuilding, committee work and debating in General Assembly. We hope that this weekend besides being fun was also a great teaching experience, with all participants acquiring skills which they can use for the rest of their lives.
All participants are now alumni of EYP the Netherlands, but only two delegations could be selected for participation in the two International Sessions. For the session in Tromsö in April the jury selected Christelijk lyceum Zeist and Stanislas College (Delft) was selected for participation in Lviv, this October.
We hope to see all (new) alumni very soon and we are looking forward to the new season 2010-2011 for which the preparations are already in full swing.
