Preliminary Rounds Amsterdam also a success

The Amsterdam Preliminary Rounds were a great success. There were debates on high level, passionate speeches and great games played by the delegates.

The host of this session, Barlaeus Gymnasium, streamed the GA online on Sunday, which allowed parents and other interested viewers to watch how the delegates did throughout the day. Two days of intensive icebreaking, committee work and debating in general assembly showed great enthusiasm and motivation from the fifty delegates who participated in these sessions.

The European Youth Parliament the Netherlands selected Ignatius Gymnasium Amsterdam, Barlaeus Gymnasium Amsterdam and the Mencia de Mendoza lyceum Breda for participation in the National Selection Conference 2010 in Amsterdam, which will be held in the weekend of 12 till the 14th  of February.     • Wim van Doorn : In regards to all the questions concerning how to become an alumni, a set of official guidelines for who becomes alumnus will be posted before the first preliminary round of this year. All those people who have asked questions on this page, as far as I'm aware, know their position by now.
